Talya Valenti - Drum lessons for beginners to advanced students-

Hi, I'm Talya.

ONLINE LESSONS AVAILABLE

I'm a professional drummer gigging in Perth, playing, writing and recording original music as well as doing session work. I have 10 years of teaching experience and I really enjoy passing on my knowledge and passion for drums and music. I have a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours (Jazz performance major) from WAAPA and have also studied abroad at New York University. I hold a current Working With Children Check and parents can sit in on lessons if they choose to.

Beginners are welcome- I can show you all the foundations of drumming including basic coordination, reading and writing drum notation, how to play along with music and develop good time and feel.

Advanced students also welcome- if you are looking to improve your technique and coordination, learning to transcribe or learning to improvise, or are even preparing for WAAPA auditions- I can help!

No need to book weekly- if you wish to, that's great, but if you are just looking for some pointers, having a few casual lessons whenever you want is also an option!

-Drum kit provided, materials provided. Just bring some sticks!
