Music Theory Lessons

I am a highly experienced private music tutor in the Labrador/Southport area of Chirn Park. I love teaching both children and adults, whether preparing for an exam or just learning for enjoyment and satisfaction.

I teach through schools and privately from my home studio. I have a Working With Children Blue Card and can also provide professional references for your peace of mind.

Whether music theory lessons are taken alongside instrumental instruction or not, my pupils learn to look at theory as an integral part of their musical education. As concepts become more difficult, a stand-alone theory lesson becomes very useful, honing their skills to become a well-rounded musician.

With 16 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music degree, I am dedicated to fostering a love for music in my students. I tailor each lesson with their own individual needs and character in mind.
