Flute Lessons

Chris began learning flute at the age of 15 while performing in various bands at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. His advanced skills in saxophone, piano, music theory, and musicianship enabled him to progress rapidly, becoming a versatile performer proficient in four instruments—piano, saxophone, clarinet, and flute—within a short period of time.

For the past five years, Chris has been actively teaching in the Sutherland Shire, offering both private and group lessons. He also teaches at the Music School in Caringbah, sharing his expertise with students of all ages.

Chris has received numerous accolades for his performances in various Eisteddfods and competitions across Sydney, Penrith, and Wollongong. Notably, he won the Saxophone 20 & Under section at the Sydney Eisteddfod in 2022 and secured second and third place in the recent St George Sutherland Youth Music Awards. His outstanding HSC performances earned him a nomination for inclusion in the prestigious "Encore" HSC Showcase at the Sydney Opera House in 2023.

As a dedicated music educator, Chris employs a structured teaching approach that integrates rhythm, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills. He tailors his lessons to students of all levels and incorporates engaging music activities for younger learners, helping them grasp fundamental music theory and performance concepts through interactive games.
