Ingrid has been playing violin professionally for over ten years. Previously based in Melbourne she performed regularly with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Melbourne Chamber Orchestra as well as as Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. During her studies in Adelaide under Keith Crellin (co-founder of Australian String Quartet) she took part in various chamber groups and also performed individually as a soloist. She then continued on to complete Masters in Music Performance at Melbourne University with Matthew Tomkins (co-founder of Flinders Quartet and Principal Second Violin in Melbourne Symphony Orchestra).
Ingrid has had extensive experience teaching both in schools, such as Wesley College (VIC), St Peters Girls (SA) and privately. Students can expect an encouraging and stimulating environment where they will be able to develop good technique and skills to understand and enjoy music.
