Ms. Lee received the ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Certificate with distinction in 2018 and has been a regular performer at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre since 2014. Since 2019, she has been teaching students aged 3 to 13. Kelly began her musical journey at the age of 4. The early years were challenging as she encountered a teacher whose methods didn’t resonate with her, leading to a temporary break from music. Fortunately, in 2013, she met an inspiring mentor who reignited her passion. With dedication and perseverance, she progressed from beginner to Grade 8 in just six years. This experience shaped her belief that every student has their own pace and unique talents.
As a teacher, Kelly tailors her lessons to each student’s strengths and areas for growth, ensuring a balance between technical proficiency and musical enjoyment. She believes that while mastering technique is crucial, it is equally important for students to find joy and expressiveness in their playing. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating a positive and supportive environment where students can develop their skills and confidence, guiding them through a fulfilling musical journey and nurturing a lifelong love for music.
