Jessica Reid

Jessica specialises in Vocal Tuition and has a Bachelor of Music majoring in Musical Theatre from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts. She grew up in New Zealand, where she performed in several musicals, competed in vocal competitions and won regional titles as a vocalist and tap dancer.

As a vocalist, Jessica has performed for thousands of people at Christmas Festivals with her brother and No.1 NZ Singles Chart vocalist, Haydn Linsley, and New Zealand’s premier big band, the Rodger Fox Big Band.

At 16, Jessica was selected to perform the New Zealand National Anthem on national television at the Awapuni Racing Centre for Sires Day, an honour which she fulfilled for the following three years. During this time, she also performed as a soloist for a city-wide mayoral launch campaign event, and in a duo with New Zealand soprano Madison Horman for several corporate events for the City Council.

Prior to leaving New Zealand, Jessica completed London Trinity Guildhall examinations in Classical Singing, Musical Theatre and Music Theory with Distinction. In 2015, she won the medal for having the highest mark in an advanced vocal examination in the region.

Since completing her Bachelor degree, Jessica has enjoyed freelancing at performing arts schools as a Vocal and Musical Theatre Coach, and teaching Preschool Music. Alongside music, she loves reading books and baking cookies!
