Learn as you play jazz in a real band led by an expert instructor. You'll be put in a group with others around the same level of jazz experience as you and, as much as possible, similar levels of technique on your instrument too.
You'll benefit from weekly rehearsals at our studio in St Leonards. The program includes structured training in jazz improvisation, how to play in a small jazz band, and of course you'll play plenty of music too. It is so much more than just a weekly jam with a "tutor" nodding along! Our combos offer real teaching & learning.
Expect effective teaching, good company, fun times, and real progress. We run groups for beginners, intermediate, and advanced jazz players. Beginner classes usually start in February and August. It's best to join at the start because, after a few weeks, they aren't beginners any more!
